US stock exchanges rise – gold price stronger

New York (dts news agency) – The US stock exchanges rose on Monday. At the end of trading in New York, the Dow was calculated at 27,993.33 points, an increase of 1.18 percent compared to the previous trading day. A few minutes earlier, the broader S&P 500 was up around 3,383 points (+1.27 percent), the technology exchange Nasdaq calculated the Nasdaq 100 at around 11,277 points (+1.72 percent).

The European common currency trended stronger on Monday evening. One euro cost 1.1864 US dollars (+0.22 percent). The gold price benefited, in the evening 1,958.42 US dollars were paid for one troy ounce (+0.93 percent).

That corresponds to a price of 53.07 euros per gram.
