Munich (dts news agency) – After the corona test mishaps in his state, the Bavarian Prime Minister Markus Söder (CSU) has clearly lost favor with the nationwide voters. This is reported by the news magazine “Focus”, citing a survey by the INSA institute. According to this, Söder achieved an approval rating of 149 points (on a scale of up to 300 points) from voters this week, a minus of ten points compared to the previous week. Nevertheless, the CSU boss is tied with Chancellor Angela Merkel (minus three to 149 points) at the top of the list of 22 top German politicians.
Third place went to Federal Health Minister Jens Spahn (minus two to 127 points), followed by the designated SPD candidate for Chancellor Olaf Scholz (plus five to 124 points).
